‘Punctelia subrudecta’ (pre-2003; this name is still valid for certain European populations)
‘Punctelia perreticulata’ (Aptroot 2003; this name is still valid for certain populations in the Ozarks Ecoregion and the Mediterranean)
‘Punctelia subrudecta auct. Amer.’ (Lendemer 2004; this is an informal name that refers to P. caseana)
