“Commentary: Because Boletus bicolor Peck (1872) is a latter homonym of Boletus bicolor Raddi (1806), a new name has been proposed. The epithet rubelloides was selected due to its morphological similarity to Xerocomellus rubellus (Krombh.)Šutara.
