Summary: Deprecated

According to Index Fungorum these names have been synonymized. However, based on personal communication with Rick Kerrigan it is likely that populations in western North American are distinct from the European species. Agaricus moelleri was original described by the Ukrainian mycologist Solomon P. Wasser, but I don’t know where the type collection was from.
