Sporocarps gregarious, 1.5-3.0 mm tall. Stalk 85-90% of the total height, slender, tapered upwards, furrowed, brown, by TL red-brown, translucent and lacking granular matter. Sporotheca globose, nut-brown, nodding, 0.1-0.3 mm diam., hazelnut-brown, dotted with dark peridial nodes. Peridial cup either absent or reduced to a small stellate collar. Peridial net arising from 4-5 threads, threads c. 0.8 µm diam., forming mostly quadrilateral meshes. Peridial nodes numerous, c. 10-15 µm diam., situated 15-35 µm apart, dark, semiglobose, concave on the inside. Calcic granules densely packed, dark, 1-1.3(-2) µm diam. Spores pale yellow-brown, minutely spinulose, 5-7 µm diam.
