“Although prevailing in the Trichoderma anamorphs of the sister genus Hypocrea, in the Cladobotryum anamorphs of Hypomyces green conidia have been observed only in the anamorph of H. viridigriseus. The colouration is often faint and cannot always be observed even in conidial masses. However, the four species with greenish conidia do not constitute a monophyletic group indicating the homoplasious nature of this characteristic in the treated group.” (Põldmaa, 2011)
