Observation: Boletaceae sp. Chevall. (10903)
About Boletaceae Chevall.
When: 2008-08-29
Collection location: Saint Martins, New Brunswick, Canada [Click for map]
Who: Paul Derbyshire (Twizzler)
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Two specimens of this bolete seen (the first two pictures are of the same one, from different angles). Brown cap, greyish pores and stem.

This area was crowded with mushrooms — the last photo has what may be a damaged mushroom of some other species in the top left corner. It was a patch of Acadian forest and it had rained recently, plus moist fogs had been rolling in from the Bay of Fundy pretty much every night that week.
