I don’t have to set anything special. I have a Kodak Z885
digital, nothing fancy. It has automatic or manual settings.
Sometimes the autofocus is a problem with the closeups, I may
then switch to manual focus and get closer until it looks sharp.
That also helps if the fungus is less detailed than the background
(like on grainy wood). I’ve also found on this camera the automatic
exposure is a little too bright for my taste, I either go manual
there or to the programmed setting to close down about one stop.
