Summary: diminutivus

I think you’re right, Alan. I was swayed by a rule of thumb suggesting that A. semotus is way more common than A. diminutivus, and I didn’t think these were small enough. The clavate, white stem and mycelial threads of A. semotus (and not this collection) sway me back.

Summary: diminutivus?

Why not Agaricus diminutivus? It looks more like that then most of the A. semotus pictures. A. semotus looks more bloated with a bulging white stem.
