Summary: L. substriatus

This species is common with Doug-fir in coastal forests. Hesler & Smith have a complete description (page 471) online at U. of Mich. For some info on a local collection about taste and latex, see observation#2551. #2551 has a good photo of the dried, yellow latex on the cut gills.
