About Amanita Pers.

When: 2007-03-09
Collection location: Kundabung, New South Wales, Australia [Click for map]
Who: Ian Dodd (kk) (www.kundabungkid.com) Australia (kundabungkid)
No herbarium specimen

Notes: This specimen was shown if (7698). I have moved it to a new observation following appreciated comment from Rod T.
I have been through my notes and at the time of taking this image I was not detailing nearly enough site information. The notes and information I can give is the Fungi was growing in an open area of a paddock on my Kundabung property in NSW Australia. The fungi was growing in fairly poor soil with some leaf matter and had some semi shade or filtered light from local Eucalypts.
The cap was about 40mm across and the stem about the same. It was a single growth.

Please note, attempted to reuse image and although it appeared in the new file when I looked at my obs it had not been saved. The problem is I deleted the original from the old file and am having difficulty in locating the original image in my archives. Will keep looking. My apologies.
++++++++++++++++++++++++ All is well, I found the file, and also Nathan was kind enough to look for it and also provided me with a copy. I hope it was all worth it, so here it is……
