Summary: Micro pics forthcoming

I’ve got it wrapped in moist paper towels and refrigerated. I’m going to do some microphotography on this and added to this page in the next few days.

Summary: nice find, Peter, altho maybe bad news for ignorant fungal foragers…

a couple of years back we had a big flush of phalloides in July, so really, all we need is that magic ingredient: water. Hooray for late spring rains!
Interestingly, CO has had similar weather patterns this year, with dry followed by a wet spring.

Summary: Hah

I’m pretty sure I saw you in Mill Valley earlier today… or yesterday I should say.

So THAT’S what you were up to!

Seems rather out of season for A. phalloides, cool find.
