Summary: very punny.

as to sub-cokeri…the nose knows.

Amanita subcokeri has a very distinctive odor of burnt sugar crossed with cedar chest…check it out, next time you come across one of these lepidellas.

Summary: I think that my comment

about being “subcorrect” had to do with a suggestion that the species may be subcokeri. But I see no such proposal or comment at this time. So… ? The overall white color (except for browning on warts) and shape of the basal bulb lead me to the coker group. The “subcokeri” proposal was newly made by me.
