Summary: staining

any yellow staining near the base?

this sure looks a lot like Agaricus placomyces, ive noticed with this species the yellow staining can take a few minutes to show up after being cut/handled.

i usually cut the base off and then cut it in half, then use a knife and press down on inside of the stipe, usually with A. placomyces it will stain yellow within a couple minutes.
