I can’t tell you the name, but this mushroom is not named after shroomydan. The draft document Rick showed me was dated May of this year. The specimens I sent will be the third collection of this unpublished taxon, if they turn out to be what he thinks they are.

A. molterii, perhaps? ;)

Rick Kerrigan has received specimens from ob 24015. He already has a name picked out for them, but I’m not at liberty to divulge it, secrets Haha! I’m looking forward to the results of his microscopic and molecular analysis.
