Observation: Arcyria nutans (Bull.) Grev. (27535)
About Arcyria nutans (Bull.) Grev.
When: 2009-10-29
Collection location: Howarth Park, Santa Rosa, California, USA [Click for map]
Who: Debbie Drechsler (debdrex)
No herbarium specimen

Notes: I originally saw these about five days ago and planned to go back and photograph them. It was very windy between then and today and I was sure they’d be blown away but they weren’t. When touched they turn to dust. Or I guess that would be spore dust.
