Summary: Any chance of some dried material being available?

I don’t have coverage for this species in my herbarium; and vouchered photographs would be a real plus for the Amanita Studies website as it goes through its big 11th birthday transformation into php code and a postgres database.

Summary: Thanks,

Previously I used to clear the debris before starting my photography but I found that it doesn’t look as natural and quite often the specimens become damaged when moving things.
This species blends in with the habitat very well, especially in it’s earlier stages of growth.
I will be making another observation of the matured specimen today with some micrographs added.

Summary: I can’t comment on species

but I sure like your photos. Nice to see in situ shots as well as after the site has been cleaned slightly. Curious warts and dark coloration. Do these stand out in your landscape or blend in?
