Summary: .

Now that I realize that this species prefers Arbutus menziesii, Pacific Madrone, I will be paying a lot more attention to downed trees.

This was my first time finding this species; I have been wanting to find it for a while now.

I am glad you got a good picture of it Noah!

Summary: OK. so maybe this one was a neat

but the rest of Tubaria
Yes it was growing at the rotting base of a toppled Mandrone.
I have seen a similar looking Australian species T. rufofulva which I will post at some time…

Summary: No, no these are neat.

There nothing boring about another brown spored thing… Did you find these with Madrone?
