Observation: Morchella rufobrunnea Guzmán & F. Tapia (34484)
About Morchella rufobrunnea Guzmán & F. Tapia
Public Description (default) [Edit]
When: 2010-03-01
Collection location: Fort Ord, Seaside, California, USA [Click for map]
Who: Ron Pastorino (Ronpast)
No herbarium specimen

Notes: These were growing on sandy disturbed soil.
They are Liliputian sized, about 4 cm tall or less. Would never have seen them if I hadn’t been looking at something else.
Can’t really be sure of the species but rufobrunnea is probably best guess for the habitat and time of year.
