Notes: Found growing on the ground on a Northern exposed hill side above a small creek. Growing from he ground. fruiting body about 7 cm across with a prudish gray color to it. At first thought it to be Urnula craterium but the characteristics are not the same. This lacks the distinctive vase shape and it was not growing on wood. I found a specimen of Urnula but looks different microscopically and macroscopically.
