show the only six illustrations available on the web from this beautiful and exceedingly rare volume. I thought it would make a valuable contribution to MO to upload all of the color panels here as individual observations, as the book can only be purchased in Japan (http://www.seibundo-shinkosha.net/...) and my efforts to reach both the publisher and the author have, so far, been in vain.
Most of us will be dead by the time this enters the public domain. A downright shame to think that more people won’t be able to see Shimizu’s talent before then.
