previously had very similar mushrooms from the same location identified as S. punctipes, though for some reason the advanced search function of this site isn’t finding them.
(The other small Suillus, the one with tiny caramel-colored droplets all over the pores and stipe, found there is S. granulatus. A paler-pored Suillus identified there is S. placidus. This specimen lacks the droplets and has strongly yellow pores.)
As for the quality of the photography, there are good stipe details in the first of the three photos. Second shows proportions and third shows cap top.
