Much better! That is the colour i recall.

I think these are a pretty good match for what they really look like. The last images is blown out so there’s not much I can do about that, but at least it shows the shape of some of the other fruiting bodies.

Definitely a cool green color, but yep, they were really white. I have had the same problem with odd photo colors in that room. We always have a couple of full-spectrum lamps at the Fair for ID purposes; they work equally well for photo ops!

If I remember right these were white right? Pretty much pure white? Yeah, I’ve always had problems taking photos in that room, the lights I think are mercury vapor, and a different color than florescent. But since the caps were white, you can color balance the photos to the white for the caps, correcting the whole color of the digital photos.

Except the last photo, where the white exists because the light levels of the sensor are maxed out.
