Observation: Calloria fusarioides ( Berk.) Fr. (7109)
About Calloria fusarioides ( Berk.) Fr.
When: 2008-03-15
Collection location: Sebastopol, California, USA [Click for map]
Who: Darvin DeShazer (darv)
Herbarium specimen available

Notes: Growing on a bale of straw and very, very small.
Spores 11-14um.
Keyed out easily in Seaver and the description fits well, except for habitat. “On stems of Urtica and possibly on other herbaceous stems.” I suppose there could possibly be a stinging nettle stem in that bale of hay. It is also very likely that this is a wrong ID!
Collection # DD 642
