Observation: Agaricus albolutescens Zeller (7551)
About Agaricus albolutescens Zeller
Public Description (default) [Edit]
When: 2008-05-18
Collection location: Lake Almanor, California, USA [Click for map]
Who: debbie viess (amanitarita)
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Ate it.

Second photo of mushrooms in situ, and third of a well-munched mushroom in the field. Apparently, a furry forager had pulled out and nibbled upon the first mushroom, exposing the second, pristine one to my eye. Thanks, little brother!

I left HIS/her mushroom where I found it…
