Summary: Trudell/Ammirati Say:

“…extremely common in the Puget Sound area. However, despite it’s current abundance, there are no earlier records of it occurring here. The reasons for this phenomenon remain a mystery.”

Summary: White, but does it taste peppery?

The spore is probably white, but does it taste peppery? Taste it. It reminds of the Gymnopus peronatus gr. that for some reason is only known from WA in North America… but is very common in Europe.
