Notes: Ok, this doesn’t really look like the honey mushroom, but I’m not sure else to call this one. It found by itself, and doesn’t really have a veil, but there is veil reminants on the cap edge. The spore print was a creamy white, and there were a lot of spores.
The funny thing is that this was a single mushroom found, but it was attached to a rock under the ground, and it was really attached to that rock. So, it is not a tuber, but just a rock.
If this isn’t a honey mushroom and there is a better idea, please pass it along.
Ok, looking the info from the comment, it does look more like “sinapina”. The veil remanents on the cap, and the single growth seem to point to this species.
