Observation 100061: Fistulinella conica (Ravenel) Pegler & T.W.K. Young
When: 2012-06-24
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Of all the interesting new mushrooms I found on this trip, these were my favorite. While both of the cited reference books have pictures of this species, there were, to date, no reported sightings on MO and hardly anything on the web.
Spores ~ 14-16 X 4.3-5.2 microns.
