Observation 100170: Boletus subfraternus Coker & Beers
When: 2005-07-06
No herbarium specimen
0 Sequences

The mushrooms were found and photograped by J.W. Richards.

Fruiting of these boletes is almost a yearly event at the location if the weather conditions allow… Growing on a grassy patch under a beech tree, with rhododendrons in the vicinity.

Relation to the campestris-fraternus-rubellus cluster should also be considered.
