HABITAT open hardwood forest on low knob; SUBSTRATE Acer bark; ASPECT partly sunny; NOTES thin greenish smooth crust, steep sided crowded warts with broad white lips and gaping dark ostioles; CORTEX K-, C- to C+o in only a few places, KC+o, UV+ weak; MEDULLA K+y-o no norstictic crystals present; SPORES 2 per ascus for sure, 100 × 40 µm, outer wall weakly roughened and thin, inner wall thick and smooth.
