Notes: HABITAT open hardwood forest on low knob; SUBSTRATE smooth-barked hardwood; ASPECT partly shaded; NOTES thin greenish continuous crust, tiny delicate thin brownish apothecia without rims or with very thin dark edging, K+y, C~o, KC+o strong, UV-

The preceding observation keys out as this same species, but looks totally different, and it’s growing right beside it! But according to James Lendemer, they really are the same thing…
