Notes: HABITAT large siliceous outcrop with steep northwestern exposure; SUBSTRATE ground; ASPECT sunny; NOTES granular-verruculose black crust with some orange-olive lumps scattered, K- and C- under LM; ASCOCARP black disk, dark brown raised thin rims, crowded, exciple dark brown with cellular structure, epihymenium brown due to pigmented paraphyses tips, hymenium hyaline to brownish, paraphyses very thin and distantly branched and anastomosing with abruptly swollen tips with brown pigment caps, ascus weakly amyloid with inamyloid cushion at tip; SPORES 8 per ascus, simple, smooth, ellipsoid, hyaline, ~12 × 6 µm
