Notes: HABITAT large siliceous outcrop with steep northwestern exposure; SUBSTRATE siliceous rock; ASPECT sunny; NOTES endolithic? crust; ASCOCARP black with thick priminant black rims, epihymenium red-brown lightening a bit to reddish-brownish in K, exciple black on outside to brownish inside and POL+ inside clearing a bit in K, hymenium brownish to browner subhymenium, hypothecium dark brown; SPORES tons, round, hyaline, smooth, ~2 µm
