Thallus yellowish conspicuous sorediate, granular to farinose, forming a leprose sorediate crust. The chemical reactions agree with my previous observation of and with the description given in CNALH for the species Pyrrhospora quernea. It should be mention that the tree where this specimen lives had clear vestiges of the alga Trentopholia, which are visible in the photos attached, though that species has another photobiont (a coccoid green alga).
