but during my stay in the U.S. in the Appalachian I found it too and I think this is one of the rare cases that Tylopilus felleus ss.auct.eur. is actually synonymous to Tylopilus felleus ss.auct.amer. :) Seems to be distributed on the whole northern hemisphere.

to a Euro mushroom! Looks just like the T. felleus I find here in PA, USA. I suppose it’s only a matter of time before DNA….
