Crataegus – Hawthorne

It seems to be one of those Crataegus species, but that’s as far as one can go. Here is a quote from UW-Green Bay Botany Department: “Few, if any, current botanists in Wisconsin claim thorough knowledge of Crataegus…” I might be wrong too…
