SUBSTRATE rotten log on mossy slope above creek; ASPECT shaded; uncommon.
The primary squamules of these things were too small, but they all clearly have discrete patches of soredia and the lower half is clearly corticate. Could these be a form of C. cornuta instead, or I don’t know, maybe C. scabriuscula??
