Thanks for steering me in the right direction, Rod. My lazy nature made me jump at daucipes when I saw the reddish-brown coloring on the stipe base. The description for ravenelii on your website fits this mushroom to a tee. The radial floccose scales is the clincher. It’s nice to know you’ll always keep me honest!
