Notes: HABITAT oldgrowth chaparral and conglomerate outcrops at top of high transverse ridge; SUBSTRATE among moss at base of north face of conglomerate outcrop on top of ridge; ASPECT shaded; NOTES immersed crust, small pinkish lecanorine apothecia, epruinose, K- C- KC+y UV?, very thick cortex basally (50-80 µm), very little cortex laterally, epihymenium yellow-brown and POL+ clearing in K, algal layer mostly POL- unchanged in K; SPORES 9-10 × 5-6 µm (3 µm wide in K!).

Specimen destroyed, was on a corner of the A. obpallens specimen, but crumbled.
