When: 2012-07-20

Collection location: Long Hunter State Park, Davidson Co., Tennessee, USA [Click for map]

Who: Brian Adamo (adamo588)

No specimen available

2.3cm diameter, solitary specimen growing on hardwood log in mixed forest. I didn’t think that any spiny puffballs grew on wood – what is it?
