Notes: HABITAT hardwood forest on top of small hill in bottom of steep valley; SUBSTRATE mineral soil in cracks of siliceous outcrop; ASPECT sunny; NOTES squamulose dull gray thallus, no soralia but fragile convoluted squamules appearing to be pustulate, all parts K~brownish C+pink KC+red.
