Notes: HABITAT recently lightly-burned open oak forest high on north slope; SUBSTRATE bark of Quercus chrysolepis at chest height; ASPECT partly shaded; NOTES aggressive thick smooth shiny crust with white margin, medulla faintly yellowish near cortex, abundant round erumpent soralia of very coarse fluffy soredia, cortex and medulla K- C- KC- UV- 350-375nm, algae normal chlorococcoid not trentepohlia.
