Notes: HABITAT chaparral on sea cliffs in small west-facing cove; SUBSTRATE soil under lip at edge of cliff; ASPECT sunny; NOTES thallus v thin and tan where present at all K-, apothecia sessile dirty pale tan/orange with thick raised concolorous margins K+r/v, paraphyses with 2-4 cells somewhat swollen irregularly, spores avg 16 × 7 µm with 3-6 µm isthmus.
