Older specimen(note dried crispy sides) on black Cottonwood(Populus balsamifera) log.
More pinkish/peach colored than any slime mold of this sort that I’ve encountered West of the Cascades(eg. Fuligo septica, Mucilago spp.). This is distinctly a desert environment.
Found along Yakima river portion of the park.
