HABITAT sage community on top of sheer cliffs; SUBSTRATE twig of Salvia?; ASPECT sunny; NOTES lichenized, white verruculose thallus, K- C- KC- UV- 350nm, black flat to convex dull apothecia with thin black almost excluded rims, epihymenium brown to slightly greenish, exciple dark brown merging with golden-brown to dark brown of hypothecium, apothecia constricted below, tiny square crystals abundant in cortex and extending into exciple, hymenium hyaline, exciple cellular with roundish cells, pycnidia in raised to almost globose and sessile warts, conidia 3-4 × 1.5 µm; SPORES ? per ascus, straight to somewhat bent, fusiform, both ends the same, hyaline, almost all with 5 septa, smooth, ~20-22 × 3 µm.
