C. chrysopepla DNA confirmed from NH, NC, TN, MI, WI, MA, AZ. See Qin et al. 2016.

So, is there some recent evidence…

that supports a species cluster hypothesis? If so, is it reasonable to to suppose that there are several North American types? Even if the second answer is “no”, I suspect that the NA name will need to be updated… for the usual reason.
