Observation 10377: Psilocybe zapotecorum R. Heim
When: 2008-08-20
(20.7173° -104.8861° 1456m)
No herbarium specimen

Notes: These mushrooms were found at the bottom of a landslide just a few yards up from http://mushroomobserver.org/10376

They are very similar to that observation microscopically but look very different macroscopically.

The spores are subrhomboid and elongated, nearly all exactly the same size which is very unusual, 3 – 3.5 × 6 micrometers. All spores measured (15 spores) were exactly 6 micrometers long.
