It does grow on the dolomitic limestone of the Niagara Escarpment. Apothecia leave what might be called pock-marks, but not the raized ones like I see in some pictures. By the way, MO doesn’t yet have this new name entered into the database.
Also, I’ve added a photo of the habitat.

Was this on limestone? Did the apothecia leave little pock-marks behind on the rock? There are some Verrucaria that do that — is it V. calciseda? Haven’t those species moved to a segregate genus now? There it is: Bagliettoa calciseda. Does that look promising?
