Did you measure the outer skin?

I’m guessing it is under 4mm thick, which would make this either S. verrucosum or S. areolatum, depending on the spore size. S. verrucosum has smaller spores: 7-11 microns; S. areolatum has slightly larger spores on average: 10-14 microns. As the scales are not pointed and the peridium is relatively thin, I’m afraid the best we can do with this obs. is to call it Scleroderma, as Riverdweller has already done.
