If these are rounded with stringy white attachment to the ground, could be Bovista. Especially if growing on soil amended with steer manure.
Another helpful hint would be to cut one specimen in half through the base, and show the results. This could also be a host of fungi which a stipe or pseudostipe (stem or stem-like structure) which is not shown in your photo.
