Notes: HABITAT open oak forest on steep north slope; SUBSTRATE granitic rock; ASPECT mostly open; NOTES strongly carbonized and extremely verrucose/split thick black rims, black exciple fully encasing apothecium but white within, hymenium brownish, epihymenium red-brown; SPORES 4-5 × 1.5-2.0 µm.
